Benefits of ICSM Membership
  • The Society will recognize his/her credibility and professional experience in the field of instrumentation and control.
  • Individual member will receive discount rates for the Society's professional activities such as conferences, workshops, seminars, exhibitions, short courses, etc. 
  • The Society will develop a directory of industries in Malaysia involved in instrumentation and control which will be available to individual members.
  • The Society will prepare a directory of industrial products (in connection with instrumentation and control) that are associated with local/foreign industries in Malaysia which will be available to individual members. 
  • The names and addresses of all members of the Society will be available to each individual member. 
  • The Society will seek international affiliation from International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) and Instrument Society of America (ISA) - members will be informed of all IFAC and ISA activities around the world. Once affiliated the Society will organize international conferences and symposia in Malaysia under these affiliations. 
  • The Society will publish a bi-monthly newsletter which will be circulated to all its members concerning the Society's activities and other information
  • The Society will keep the member abreast with new technology and products in instrumentation and control through its bi-monthly newsletters
  • The Society will organize a bi-monthly tea talk on numerous topics on new technology, products and other interesting information for its members.
  • The Society will occasionally organize visits to factory and training centers for its members.
  • The Society will organize an annual dinner and cultural excursions for its members
  • A member of the Society will have the privilege to meet other members of the Society to exchange ideas and information on their work and other interests during one of the Societies numerous activities.
  • The Society will also publish a journal or magazine once or twice a year where members can publish their research and development works in the field of instrumentation and control. Members will be informed of local expertise and latest developments on specific area from the journal or magazine.
  • The Society will organize special working groups to discuss specific topics of interests among its members such as process control, robotics, automation, etc.
